Julie Solvstrom is a Danish illustrator, graphic designer and all-around creative based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Her work brings together Scandinavian simplicity with the color, energy and natural surroundings of the Pacific Northwest.
Julie’s visual language is playful, colorful and full of warmth.
Shapes, characters and unexpected combinations create work that feels approachable without becoming ordinary.
A deep affection for nature sits at the center of Julie’s creative practice.
Plants, landscapes, organic forms and the feeling of being outdoors regularly find their way into her illustrations.

Poetry also influences the rhythm and emotion of Julie’s work.
