Happy Faced towels combine quick-dry performance with original artwork from independent artists. They absorb a lot, pack smaller than bulky cotton towels, release sand more easily and look like somebody gave a damn while designing them.

Our core quick-dry towels are made from 88% recycled polyester and 12% nylon. Specialty products may use different materials, so check the individual product page for exact details.

We call them sand-resistant, not protected by an invisible anti-sand force field. The smooth weave gives sand fewer places to hide, so it shakes off more easily than it does from thick cotton loops.

The lightweight microfiber construction dries faster than a thick traditional cotton towel. Exact drying time depends on temperature, humidity and airflow. Hang it open instead of leaving it crumpled like a tiny wet hostage.

Fabric softener leaves a coating on microfiber that can reduce absorption. It may smell like a meadow invented by a detergent company, but it makes the towel worse at being a towel.

Yes. Tumble dry on low heat or hang it to dry. Avoid high heat, which can damage synthetic fibers over time. Your towel is not a pizza. Do not cook it.

Wash it without fabric softener, then dry it completely before storing it. Persistent odors often come from buildup or leaving the towel damp too long.
