Mari Monteiro

Mari Monteiro is an LGBTQIA+ artist from Ibitinga/São Paulo. who Graduated in Performing Arts. She moved to Bauru where she discovered graffiti in 2015. Today she is an art educator, visual artist and graffiti artist. Currently working with calligraffiti, with abstract shapes and vibrant colors in the composition of her arts, she works on the deconstruction of letters and words, playing with the people's imagination. He has participated in festivals in several Brazilian states such as Tocantins, Acre, Paraná, Espírito Santo, São Paulo and Pernambuco. Outside Brazil, he has already painted in Chile and Peru. Mari is a multidisciplinary artist, transits through different supports such as walls, wood, glass,objects. Likes to explore different materials by reframing them.
