Sweat Control
Face, hands, neck, arms, forehead. Get the sweat before the sweat begins making executive decisions.
HAPPY FACED GYM + FITNESS TOWELS
Lifting. Cardio. Circuits. Spin class. Garage workouts. Outdoor training. Whatever you're doing, eventually your body starts leaking. A good gym towel handles the situation without taking over your entire bag.
Happy Faced fitness towels are lightweight, absorbent, quick-drying microfiber towels built for workouts, sweat, gym bags, training sessions, sports, locker rooms, and generally avoiding becoming the damp human everyone quietly recognizes.
QUICK ANSWER
A good gym towel should absorb sweat, dry quickly, feel comfortable, fit easily in your bag, and be large enough for the job without becoming another piece of luggage.
For most workouts, you don't need a bath towel. You need something you can grab between sets, wipe your face and hands with, throw over your shoulder, wash regularly, and actually remember to bring.
That's why Small is our usual gym pick. Medium gives you more coverage if your workout, locker room, sauna, or post-training routine requires more rectangle.
WHY BRING YOUR OWN?
You've seen one. No towel. No plan. Just a damp human outline left on the bench like evidence from a low-budget crime scene.
Bringing your own workout towel is a small bit of gym gear that makes training more comfortable and makes you slightly nicer to share a building with.
Face, hands, neck, arms, forehead. Get the sweat before the sweat begins making executive decisions.
Dry hands are generally more useful than wet ones when you're holding bars, handles, dumbbells, kettlebells, or your remaining dignity.
Lightweight microfiber dries faster than a bulky cotton bath towel, which matters when it spends half its life traveling inside a gym bag.
Your shoes, headphones, bottle, straps, wraps, clothes, supplements, and emergency snacks have already claimed enough territory.
Built for people who actually train, sweat, wash their gear, then inexplicably return and do the whole thing again.
Artist-designed by real humans because your gym already contains enough black rubber, gray machines, fluorescent lighting, and motivational suffering.
WHAT IT'S ACTUALLY FOR
Face, hands, neck, benches, rest periods, and pretending the next set won't be as bad.
Running, rowing, bikes, circuits, stairs, and whatever machine was invented specifically to ruin your shirt.
Spin, boxing, group training, court sports, outdoor workouts, and organized sweating with witnesses.
Post-workout cleanup, sauna sessions, showers, wet hair, and making the transition back into civilian society.
DEPARTMENT OF BASIC GYM DECENCY
Your personal towel should mainly manage your sweat. Use the gym's disinfectant, paper towels, or disposable wipes to clean shared equipment unless your gym specifically tells you otherwise.
Using the same towel on your face and then wiping down twelve communal machines is not the hygiene breakthrough humanity has been waiting for.
Face, hands, neck, body, and whatever part of you is currently producing weather.
Follow your gym's cleaning instructions and leave shared gear ready for the next person.
PICK YOUR GYM TOWEL
Bigger is not automatically better. If all you're doing is wiping sweat between sets, carrying six feet of towel around is less fitness gear and more emotional support blanket.
The gym-bag workhorse. Plenty for faces, hands, necks, sweat, spin class, lifting, cardio, outdoor training, and most normal workout situations.
More towel without going full bathhouse. Good for long sessions, locker rooms, stretching, indoor cycling, sports, sauna use, and post-workout cleanup.
More useful when you're showering after training, need full-body coverage, want something beneath you for stretching, or simply enjoy owning a respectable amount of towel.
THE EASY ANSWER
If you want one towel mainly for the actual workout, Small is the cleanest answer. It's useful enough to do the job and compact enough to live permanently in your gym rotation.
Want more coverage or use the locker room a lot? Go Medium. Shower at the gym? Consider bringing a separate larger clean towel instead of asking the towel you just sweated into for an encore.

MICROFIBER VS. COTTON
Cotton isn't bad. It's soft, familiar, and excellent when it can live peacefully in a bathroom. A gym towel has a different job: get sweaty, fit in a bag, dry, get washed, and do it again.
THE WILD CARD
Our 20" × 20" Skate Towel has a built-in N52 neodymium magnet. It was designed to keep a towel easy to grab during skate sessions, but that same idea makes a surprising amount of sense around training.
Keep it with your own bag, rack, or suitable clean metal surface instead of dropping your towel on a gym floor that has seen things no fabric should have to remember.
It's especially good if you want something tiny for hands, face, sweat between sets, climbing gyms, garage workouts, sports, or minimal gym bags.
POST-WORKOUT ADMINISTRATION
The workout is over. Your towel's shift is not. Leaving any sweaty towel folded inside a dark gym bag for three days is less "storage" and more "experiment."
Take the towel out of your bag after training instead of letting it spend the night with your shoes.
Hang it open in moving air if you aren't washing it immediately.
Machine wash cold with mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener. Tumble dry low or hang dry.
