Quick dry
Dries faster after swims, showers, sweat, and whatever else you're soaking up.
Happy Faced is an Oxnard-born brand making artist-designed, quick-dry towels for people who go places, make messes, get sweaty, jump in things, and would rather not carry a wet boring towel home.
Everyday gear gets used too often to have no personality. We make towels that do their job and still feel like someone cared.
Most towels are fine in the same way a folding chair in a waiting room is fine.
It works. Nobody loves it. Nobody remembers it. It has never caused anyone to turn around and say, “Where did you get that?”
We wanted the opposite.
We make art you can dry off with.
Make useful things less boring.
Put art on objects people will actually use.
Build for movement, not shelf decor.
Keep the brand fun. Keep the product serious.
Take fun seriously. Don’t take yourself seriously.
Grab life by the towel.
Happy Faced started taking shape in Oxnard, California, in 2023. The first towels went on sale in 2024.
The original idea was not complicated. We liked art. We spent a lot of time outside. We kept using towels that were either bulky, forgettable, slow to dry, or all three.
So we put those complaints in the same room and made something better.
Something that felt like gear, looked like art, and didn't turn into a damp science project in the back of the car.
The product is simple. The standard is not. It has to work, look good, survive real use, and earn the space it takes up.
The art gets noticed first. The towel still has to earn the second invitation.
That means yes to looking good and no to sacraficing function.
Dries faster after swims, showers, sweat, and whatever else you're soaking up.
Built to dry you off instead of moving water around and hoping you don't notice.
Big enough to be useful. Small enough that your bag doesn't become a personal storage unit.
Beach, travel, yoga, skate, gym, car, dog, spill, sweat, repeat. Go get it!
We work with independent artists because towels shouldn't look like a committee approved them at the end of some corporate meeting.
The art is not packaging. It is not decoration. It is part of why the towel exists.
Many of our core towels use recycled microfiber made partly from post-consumer plastic.
We're not going to pretend one towel saves the planet. Making useful things from better materials—and making them worth keeping—is still a good place to start.
Go swim, skate, sweat, stretch, travel, rinse off, wipe down, make a mess, and keep moving. We’ll handle the towel part.
Happy Faced towels combine artist-driven designs with practical features such as quick-dry microfiber, strong absorbency, compact packing, and everyday versatility.
Many of our core microfiber towels use recycled material. Exact fabric blends can vary, so check the individual product page for the specific construction.
Happy Faced microfiber towels are designed to dry faster and pack smaller than bulky traditional cotton towels.
