JOAN TARRAGÓ

Joan Tarragó is a Spanish native and Barcelona based multidisciplinary artist. He graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona with time spent abroad at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Since beginning his professional career as an artist Joan is always on the move between Barcelona, Berlin, Paris, Biarritz, NY, Richmond, Miami, Thailand, Bulgaria, Gambia, Copenhagen, and further reaches of the world. His interdisciplinary style takes viewers on a journey between illustration, graphic design and mural art, in two and three dimensions. He believes illustration is no longer bound to a flat format, but very often interacts with and develops space. Joan strives to build bridges between art and design, where illustration, painting, street art & communication all play an important role. Currently, Joan lives in Barcelona and when he's not creating in his studio he is taking part in mural festivals, preparing new exhibitions and collaborating with brands and organizations to share his art with the world.
